Career Summary:

Dr. Craw is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and licensed Acupuncturist on a mission to help others feel more comfortable in their own bodies. His clinical interests include both evidence based and traditional therapies and practices that foster greater internal and interpersonal harmony. He understands that the body, heart, and mind are deeply interconnected and can all be enlisted as valuable resources in one’s healing journey. He is committed to identifying and treating the root cause of each person’s symptoms, rather than simply pursuing symptom relief.

Dr. Craw believes that the most potent approach to medicine arises from the complementary interplay between Eastern and Western medical philosophies. He has spent many years striving to build competency in both Eastern and Western medical traditions to actualize this complementarity within himself. He is passionate about sharing what he has learned and strives to ensure that every patient leaves feeling heard, accepted, and empowered in their healing journey.

Before joining YNC, Dr. Craw spent 5 years in the United States Navy where he served as a Command Fitness Leader. He then traveled to Indonesia to pursue extensive training in Yoga. He completed a bachelor’s degree in Contemplative Psychology (mindfulness-based psychotherapy) with a special focus on embodiment practices. He extensively explored East Asian arts while concurrently worked his way through Naturopathic medical school. During and after his time in medical school he spent two years providing advanced care in functional gastroenterology under the guidance of Steven Sandberg-Lewis, ND.

In his free time, Dr. Craw enjoys playing and writing music, playing soccer, rock climbing, and hiking/backpacking with his wife and dog.
