Rescheduled CardioRisk Testing Day

YNC is pleased to again offer the comprehensive cardiovascular testing profile which includes:

Carotid Intima-Media Thickness (CIMT and Plaque Assessment)

This non-invasive test evaluates the thickness of the innermost layers of the carotid artery and detects plalque that is indicated in cardiovascular and stroke events. The test is another method of evaluating the membrane inside the heart and blood vessels.

Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)

This non-invasive test is an assessment of peripheral artery disease that compares a patient’s brachial (arm) blood pressure to the pressure in their ankle.

Research has shown these methods to be an advanced and reliable evaluation of cardiovascular health.  Both of these tests are not painful and use ultrasound waves to assess the arteries.  The tests are performed by trained, certified technicians who will come to our office on specified dates.

Cost:  CIMT – $149    ABI – $101    Both tests are $250

A $100 non-refundable deposit is due when scheduling.  The balance is due the day of service.

Dates:  Thursday, November 5 from 9am to 2pm.

The Tuesday schedule needs to be filled before anyone can set an appointment on Wednesday.
